Viewing 3 posts - 1 through 3 (of 3 total) Author Posts June 5, 2017 at 3:21 pm #39220 bdoberst I just wanted to draw your attention to the Canadian Dairy Farmer’s “Fueling Women Champions” fund which is giving out 20 X $5k grants to Canadian female athletes in 2017. Details here: https://www.womenchampions.ca/champions-fund/about (the 2017 competition has not yet launched, so keep watching their website). One of the past recipients was Emeliah Harvey, 2015 Canadian National Road Race Champion, but there’s no need to be a nationally ranked athlete to land a grant. Other recipients are 12-15 year old ‘amateurs’! https://www.womenchampions.ca/champions-fund/recipients Grants can be won by individual applicants, or by a representative who proposes some type of program benefiting Canadian female athletes more widely.
